The ProQuest database indexes articles from 150 film and television magazines. Most of these publications are available in the KAVI library.
The database contains article citations from 1972 onward. Indexed articles can be searched by original film title, personal name or subject. An additional resource is the FIAF (International Federation of Film Archives) database of member publications.

Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text / EBSCO
The Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text indexes and summarizes information from over 380 publications.
The database provides full text of over 100 film and television industry magazines and 100 books. The database also includes reviews from Variety magazine from 1914 to the present as well as 36,300 images from the MPTV image archive.

BFI:n kansainvälinen filmografinen tietokanta (FII)
Film Index International (FII) is a general filmography developed by the British Film Institute covering films from the silent era to the present day. Information on 125,000 films and 80,000 individuals. The database includes source references.

Tenho and Elonet
KAVI’s Tenho film database can be used to search for filmographic and premiere information on films produced in Finland and foreign films that have been shown in Finland as well as films’ Finnish- and Swedish-language titles.
Information on the archive’s holdings of scripts and film publicity materials is available at the terminals provided for visitor use. The Tenho database can only be accessed from KAVI workstations or the KAVI library.
Elonet not only provides the public a window into the Tenho database, but is also a free streaming service for Finnish films, open to everyone.
